What is it?
Awana is an exciting program for kids, age 2 through sixth grade. Each club night has a fun-filled game program, Bible memorization, and a speaker for kids, along with songs and special music. Awards are earned for activities and memorization completed. There are special activities for each group!
What does "Awana" mean?
It stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed", taken from II Timothy 2:15.
What is Awana's goal?
To reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to train them to serve Him.
How do I get involved?
Come every Wednesday night: The 2nd week of September through the 3rd week of May each year! We start at 6:50pm and end at 8:30pm.
What does it cost?
We collect .50 dues each Wednesday, to offset operating expenses.
What if I have questions?
Call the church office (784-6200), or the Awana Commander, Gary Goodrow (456-8590) for more information.
